Palo Verde Generating Station

Employment history: Most recently served as the External Relations Manager for Palo Verde Generating Station. In this role, she co-managed the station’s external strategies which promote Palo Verde and nuclear energy’s value proposition to local, regional, and national stakeholders. In 2016, Melody completed the nuclear Management Certification Program at Palo Verde. Her nuclear industry experience also includes roles in Strategic and Business Planning, Enterprise Risk Management and Communications at Palo Verde, and she also served as the Media and Public Relations Coordinator for the Arizona Super Bowl XLII Host Committee. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business.

Post-secondary education: B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ with a minor in Spanish; J.D. from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law in Malibu, CA.

Hobbies: Traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants and/or cuisines
